The most rewarding thing is seeing Carmen accomplish something. Whether it’s saying her first words, or figuring out how to play with a toy. And seeing her joy come out when she sees something she loves. We love dogs right now, anytime she sees one she kicks her legs and gets super excited and says “Doggg”, it’s the cutest thing! I also just love bedtime snuggles, my heart grows each time she falls asleep in my arms! So thankful for peaceful moments at the end of a busy day, being her safe place

My biggest lesson so far (only 14 months in) is that you need to be able to roll with the punches! Be flexible, and do what works for you and your family. Seek peace in any way you can, so that your child can grow up in a healthy home. Give them the freedom to be silly and learn! I usually try and plan out my day or set my expectations correctly, but motherhood has taught me to just be present and be easier on myself. Getting on her level and doing things together has really helped me!

First, I would use the money to upgrade my car. I’ve driven the same Jeep renegade since 2016, and it’s amazing, however the mileage is getting higher and I worry about it breaking down. It is also small, and my husband and I plan to have more children so a bigger SUV would be ideal. I’d also pay down on my student loans, and put money away for Carmen in her account.
