What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Most rewarding part is getting to raise a special and kind human being. A person who can be my best friend but also be an amazing person in the world. To spread cheer instead of darkness! It is rewarding to grow a human, then bring them into the world. Having them smile, and knowing they love you just as much as you love them. Then as a step parent; learning patience with different parenting styles. Most rewarding to bring light into a little boys life, and give them more love.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson I have learned is taking care of a perfect thing is to improve my mental health! That I have to put myself first in order to put her first! To keep myself fit and healthy to give her the proper nourishment and to be around for a long time. As a step parent, the biggest lesson is to be patient. They already have routine and different life styles then you would teach, but loving that kid through it all. Being the fun step mom, who shows up.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would take half the money and put it into the kids education plans, especially with this economy and the raising price in education. Then I would take the other half and pay off the rest of my debt so all my funds can then go to the children! Being able to save up for a home to grow up in, instead of bouncing from rent to rent. Even tho we make very house a home no matter if it is short term. As a paramedic I see people who have it worse than us, so I don’t need it but it would help so much!
