Watching my son achieve what the world said was impossible. He taught me to celebrate every small victory and see beauty where others see struggle. What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That love without courage is not enough. My son’s diagnosis forced me to stop being silent. I became an advocate, challenged broken systems, and learned that one determined mother can change policies, open doors, and give other families hope. Motherhood taught me that my greatest strength isn’t in the courtroom — it’s in never giving up on my child.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would create direct, measurable impact. $9,000 will fund therapy services for 9 families of neurodiverse children in the Dominican Republic — $1,000 per child. I will personally travel to coordinate with therapy centers and follow each family’s progress. The remaining funds will sustain my son’s ongoing therapies. This isn’t charity — it’s a structured plan to build a more inclusive world, one child at a time. Fighting for real inclusion.
