The most rewarding part of being a mom is when my children love me anyway. That even when I am having an off day, they show me their love—for the little ones, their smiles, and for my eldest child, her supportive and encouraging words—which in turn helps me always recover and refuel my love for them, and I can continuously give the best version of myself as best as I can, each and every day.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that I don't have to beat myself up when I make mistakes as a mother, because I have learned that as long as I admit to my mistakes and humbly accept that I need to apologize to my kids for anything, then I know that there is room for improvement and change. I will never be perfect—but as long as I keep trying, I know that my kids will see the true and genuine love I have for them.
What would you do with $20,000?The first thing I would do is eliminate my debts for sure. I would also like to purchase a car for my almost 18 year old daughter—since she has been such a blessing to her siblings, stepfather, and I by being super supportive and caring as a sister and daughter. I just owe her so much!
