The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching who she’s become. Watching Lily-James grow into this confident, bright light, completely unapologetic in who she is. She refuses to play small and owns her “weird,” and honestly, it’s the greatest gift. We always say how terribly boring it would be to be normal. She sets boundaries, leads with kindness, and reminds me every day what it looks like to be fully yourself.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that I can’t pour into her if I’m running on empty. It’s taught me to slow down, take care of myself, and lead by example. To step back, release control, and let her be exactly who she is. To honor her individuality, trust her voice, and support her without shaping her. And to love her fully, endlessly while remembering she was never mine to mold, only mine to guide.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I’d spend it on time with Lily-James. Not packed schedules, just space to be together. Maybe a few weeks in Vermont with slow mornings and nowhere to be. Or we go bigger—Paris, Rome, or the Greek Islands (her Mamma Mia dream). And somewhere in there, a dude ranch in Montana, horseback riding, no phones, just us. The kind of time you don’t rush and don’t forget.
