What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing the values I am teaching my children play out in real life. When I see kindness, servanthood, selflessness and hard work show in everyday opportunities, I can't help but smile. Raising children who love others above themselves is not easy and even though none of us quite reach the mark every day, in those moments when I see this coming from one of my children, my momma heart fills up with pride and joy and that is rewarding.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that no matter how old I get, I still have so much growth ahead of me. In each stage my children reach, I learn more about who I was, who I am, and the who I want to become. If I stop growing as a person, I cannot become the momma my children need. As I learn from the present, heal from the past and hope for a better tomorrow, I can become a healthier version of me. This enables me to be, not just a better momma for them, but a woman who becomes stronger and unstoppable.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would first pay off the debt I have. After going through a divorce and not being able to work after an accident, I had to use credit cards which I hate using. After paying this off I would buy us a new couch, help my son purchase a new car, and plan a trip for my daughter and I to go visit Penn State where she wants to go to college. If there is extra, I will take all my kids to Disney where we would have a weekend of fun and splurging, something we have not yet been able to do.
