What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing their eyes light up when they say, “I love you,” knowing it’s pure and sincere. It’s in their hugs, where we both feel safe. I call them my medicine—when I hold them close, everything feels right. Hearing them say “mami” or repeat something I’ve taught them fills my heart. Knowing I’m raising them with love and faith, and that they’ll carry that into the world, is my greatest reward.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that faith is not optional, it’s what carries me when nothing else can. I’ve learned that love isn’t always gentle; sometimes it’s hard, demanding, and requires sacrifice. I’ve had to embrace change, stand firm in uncomfortable seasons, and keep going even with a breaking heart. Strength isn’t about having it all together, it’s about rising anyway. Through every high and low, God walks with me, shaping me, in becoming the woman and mother I’m meant to be.

What would you do with $20,000?

Since you’re taking care of the family vacation, I would humbly use the $20,000 to pay down some of our loans. These are debts my family and I have been carrying for years and easing that weight would mean so much to us. It would bring a sense of relief and help us move into a place of stability, peace, and growth.
