Watching my daughter grow into who GOD created her to be. She changed my life in every away possible when she was born. She gave me a reason to give back to my community,to fight,to heal,and to become a better person. The most rewarding part isn’t just raising her it’s becoming stronger because of her. She didn’t just make me a Mother again she gave me a purpose to live again.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That love is action not just words. That you show up regardless if you’re tired,hurting or overwhelmed. Motherhood has taught me strength I didn’t even know I had! It’s taught me patience,forgiveness,and that even on my hardest days…I still have to rise up because someone is watching me and learning how to live their life.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use it to gain independence for me and my daughter. I have lymphedema in both of my legs and am battling severe mobility challenges, so I urgently need an electric wheelchair with leg elevation to manage the swelling when I’m out. This would allow me to get out of the house again and live life more fully. I want to go places, do things, and enjoy life with her. It would help me be the mom I want to be and she deserves.
