I’m a full time supermom. I have two jobs while also taking care of my nonverbal autistic 7 year old and 4 year old. My kids are my world.
We would like to thank you for supporting Maraszia Souter in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Hearing my kids laughter is definitely one of the most rewarding parts. They are so innocently happy with life and it warms my heart.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Endurance. No matter what life throws my way. No matter how dark some days may look. When my children look up to me they see a superhero. They don’t know how tight things can get for us because I endure to keep them happy. I endure so that they can be better than I am.
What would you do with $20,000?I will use the prize money to move my kids to a better area with more opportunities and a better education system. I will get my sons the extra help they need in order to develop in the areas they are behind in. I will also put some of that money into going back to school myself. I was in school for child psychology before I found out about my pregnancy and I definitely plan on completing that goal.
