Receive Text UpdatesThe most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my children grow, learn, overcome traumas, and bond with their biological and foster siblings. Not every day is easy, but the tenderness and joy they show me and each other makes the long days worth it. It’s hard to put into words the love and pride I feel watching them grow together.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is patience, especially with my foster babies. Trauma can make some days really difficult, and there are times I do not know how to respond to challenging behaviors. In those moments, I have learned to step away, reflect, and then respond with love and understanding.
What would you do with $20,000?If I were to win the $20,000, I would donate a portion to organizations that support foster care and children in need, then put the rest into savings for my family’s future.
