The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your child grow into their own person. It’s in the small moments—when they laugh, learn something new, or come to you for comfort. You see pieces of yourself in them, but also something entirely their own. Even on hard days, knowing your love gives them security and confidence makes it all meaningful.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that I can’t control everything—and I don’t need to. I’ve learned to let go, be patient, and trust the process. It’s taught me that showing up matters more than being perfect. Love, consistency, and resilience go further than having all the answers, and growth happens for both of us along the way.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d focus on supporting other moms who are struggling but doing their best. I’d create a small emergency fund to help with groceries, bills, or childcare, and organize a local support network where moms can share resources and feel less alone. I’d also provide supplies for kids in need. It would be about lifting other mothers up and building a stronger, more supported community.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Mom, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
