The most rewarding part of being a mother is the purpose it brings to my life. When we play hide and seek, and she finds me, the smile she gives me is so filled with joy and innocence that I can’t help but be overcome with gratitude. It’s moments like this that remind me that I’m valued and that motherhood is more than a role, it’s a vocation.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that sometimes letting go of control will actually make you much happier than trying to force everyone into a specific mold. Navigating sleep schedules has really forced me to be flexible not just with my time but also with my emotions. Sometimes you won’t be able to control the daily rhythm of your home and that’s OK. That’s not a negative thing.
