Seeing my son have all the opportunities I didn’t while surrounded by a village of support. Seeing him grow into a young man and be caring, compassionate and deep in his faith with Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. Him seeing that no matter what cards your dealt with you’re in charge of your life and can make anything happen. Him being truly happy and seeing the beauty in the little things. Seeing him love to the fullest with no remorse with everyone around him. His unwavering resilience.

That not everyday will be easy, life isn’t a hallmark movie unless you make it happen. In your lowest you still have to wake up and make it happen whether it’s dinner, a shift, chores, a pawn store trip or a play date. Life knocks us down even when sometimes you’re already there but we get up faithful, never giving up. We’ve come along way and our dreams don’t end here. My son will know what pure love, dedication and determination is and my goal is that he emits the same characteristics.

Pay off extreme debt accrued from son, parents and family emergencies. Fix my car w/ a failed powertrain that’s a $6k repair. Necessities and move in costs for my disabled elderly parents. I wouldn’t have to work two jobs and focus entirely on school, my son and caring for my family. Put money away for my son’s medically needed braces that insurance won’t cover and emergencies. Being a sole provider for my son and parents I end up with all the bills, and that’s ok but this would change my life.
