Raising 2 beautiful kids with my husband. He suffered several strokes 2 years ago. I worked, cared for kids and him. We’re all great now!

I was worried I Would not be a good mom, until I became one almost 16 years ago. I love seeing both of our kids grow as individuals and even after all we’ve been through in the past 7 years, seeing them overcome and thrive.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That I have to take care of myself to be able to adequately care for my children. I have to be lead by example but also be honest and show them that I am not perfect, we’re all human. Being vulnerable and open with them will help them understand themselves.
What would you do with $20,000?In Aug 2019 my family moved from Texas to Florida to care for my dying father, because my parents had no family in Florida. It was a huge life change. We lost my dad oct 2019 and unexpectedly lost my mom soon after. Our dog died, my mother in law moved in and eventually my husband nearly died. I had a nervous breakdown. After therapy and a lot of work we’re all in a better path. I would love to finally redo our kids rooms and take the family on a trip back to Texas to see our old friends and fam
