What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing the seeds I planted early take root. I was firm with boundaries, structure, and expectations, not always the popular choice, but it helped shape their character and inner voice. Now, watching them grow into respectful, confident, and capable young people reminds me that the hard work was worth it. I’m truly reaping what I sowed. The quote I parent by is “may we give our children roots to grow & wings to fly!!!”

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that each of my children are uniquely different, and one approach doesn’t fit all. It’s grown my patience, compassion, and empathy. I’ve learned that every child is one choice away, good or bad, from shaping their path. I don’t expect perfection, but I strive to give them the love, guidance, and support to choose wisely.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I’d first take a real vacation with my kids, my daughters dream of clear water and white sand. I’d also create a safety net, something I don’t currently have as a single mom. And I’d finally take care of the long-overdue repairs on my vehicle that haven’t fit into my budget.
