The most rewarding part of being a mom is see my kids do hard things and succeed, but also seeing what they do when they don’t succeed. We talk a lot in our house about how challenges make us stronger and what we can learn from them. Seeing them overcome and grow into the great kids they are is amazing.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I’ve learned that my kids watch me and follow my example more than I ever realized. They watch and see how I react in situations, how I tackle the responsibility of being a working mom and full time student, what it looks like to be present with them when we’re together. It’s made me realize that my biggest job as a mom is to lead by example and help them see what they are also capable of becoming.
What would you do with $20,000?I currently work full time nights as a NICU RN, while also attending school full time to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. This money would allow me to need to work less through the remainder of my NP program and give me more time being able to be present with my family.
