The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my children succeed in life. I believe that guiding them as youngsters and teens has been a huge part of my life. I’m very proud of my kids and am still their cheerleader in life.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson is the hardest lesson, to not take any time you have with your kids for granted because they can be gone in an instant. Make every minute count and tell them you love them. I feel like maybe I took my son for granted and I miss his daily calls just to check in. Be an advocate for your kids, even if they are entering adulthood because nobody loves your children like you do. Make sure to hug your kids goodbye so you will never have any regrets.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take my family including my grandkids on vacation. I live in Minnesota and we all would enjoy the beach and the sunshine. My kids are adults now and I’m an empty nester and I miss the times we had as a family.
