Motherhood isn’t always rewarding. It’s hard, constant, and requires being present. It’s in the little things, the messy and the beautiful, and choosing to keep going. With my daughter, the rewards are the small triumphs, the proud moments, and her smile that lights up a room. She brings joy to everyone she meets. It reminds me what truly matters. The greatest reward is being called Mama, a blessing I’ve felt with her and two incredible children I’ve been lucky to raise. And…sleeping lol

I want to be real: Motherhood teaches in many forms. Raising stepchildren and a special needs child has made me a better person and shown me life is what we make it. The habits we build shape our quality of life. Showing up, trying our best, and giving it our all daily is what makes great Mamas. I’ve learned true love, self-love, letting go, and trusting what will be. Stay present, stay grateful. Acceptance is key—do one thing better each day and love harder.

With this gift, I’d take meaningful steps toward a new home—one that better fits my daughter’s needs as she grows. Our house has been filled with love for 20 years, but it’s time for a space that supports her more fully. I’d also donate a portion to the FOXG1 Research Foundation, whose work toward a cure means so much to families like mine. I’m proud to be part of their community
