What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Having a best friend who looks at you like you are the sun, the moon, and the stars and tells you "I love you Mommy, you're the best," multiple times a day, followed by a huge hug. Being a Mother has taught me what unconditional love is, how you will do anything and everything to protect this mini version of yourself. Seeing my daughter grow up, becoming everything I dreamed of and wanted for her, is the greatest gift. She is so strong and courageshe & is twice the person I was at her age.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me what unconditional love and patience is. It has also taught me about self love and self care and how important it is to take care of myself, while taking care of my daughter. I've also learned that it is okay to ask for help, that I don't have to do it all on my own, because it truly does take a village!

What would you do with $20,000?

Being a Single Mom, I have had to do many balance transfers, take out loans, basically "rob Peter to pay Paul and Mary," because having 1 salary to give my daughter the life she deserves is extremely difficult. I was diagnosed with a chronic illness after a major surgery and I am out of work a lot with no pay, so I would use the $20,000 to take my daughter away on a much needed vacation, put aside some of the money for her college tuition, but the rest I would use to just live life with her.
