What’s most rewarding to me as a mom is watching my kids grow and knowing I played a part in who they’re becoming. It’s the little things—when they come to me for comfort, when they laugh, or when I see them being kind or confident. Even on the hard days, when I’m exhausted and stretched thin, it’s still worth it. Just knowing they feel safe, loved, and supported by me means everything.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that I can’t control everything—and that’s okay. It’s really taught me patience, in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. I’ve learned to slow down, let go of perfection, and just show up the best I can each day. It’s shown me how strong I am, but also how important it is to give myself grace. At the end of the day, being present and loving my kids matters more than getting everything “right."

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d use the $20K to create some stability first, take some pressure off, and then do something meaningful with my family. I’d set aside a portion for an emergency fund so I have peace of mind knowing we’re covered if anything unexpected comes up. I’d also use part of it to pay down some debt, just to relieve that financial stress and give us a little more breathing room. And then I’d take my family on a trip—something we can all enjoy together and make memories, because that matters just as much
