When my sons come to me first to share something, whether it be an accomplishment and they’re proud of themselves, or something they need support with or advice on, that is when I feel like I’m doing alright. Knowing that they trust me enough to confide in me is the greatest feeling.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson is that I always have to be prepared for anything and be ready to think on my feet. Will it be an injury and I need to be strong? A disagreement and I have to stay calm, Or even a question like “Do bugs have butts?” Or “How old are your knees?” The takeaway here is, there’s never a dull moment!
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off some debt, and then try to buy a house! I want a home for my kids. A home to call our own, where we can paint, decorate, and have fun. I visualize it every day!
