I juggle 3 jobs, maintain our home, run around and take care of the 3 kids while my husband defends the country/city
We would like to thank you for supporting Lindsay Fry in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding thing about being a mom is seeing your child succeed in something that they’ve formerly struggled with - when they overcome a fear or a struggle. For instance, my oldest daughter struggles with math. No matter how much she tries, it continues to be difficult. When she was picked up from school one day, she pulled out her math test that she got a 100%. She was so excited and was grinning from ear to ear and couldn’t wait to tell everyone. Those are the most rewarding moments.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson I have learned is to be patient with your children. They are all different with different personalities despite being raised exactly the same. My middle child looks exactly like my husband - so when he frustrates me, I tend to take my anger out on her because she looks just like him. I have to purposely tell myself that she is not him and that I shouldn’t treat her that way.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use this money to pay for our children’s education at their private school next year. All 3 of my daughters go to a Christian school and will be going into 6th, 3rd and kindergarten. We are raising them to be good Christian, God-fearing women. The money would pay for their tuition for the 2026-2027 school year.
