The purpose they give me every day. Being able to see their growth and development unfold in front of my eyes while still imagining them in their baby bottle & swaddle era is mind blowing and rewarding at the same time.They’ve made me stronger than I ever knew I needed to be.Their unfailing and unconditional love even in the moments when I don’t get it right .The trust they instill in me to solve ALL their problems is frightening yet rewarding knowing I’m their real life superhero
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?It doesn’t have to be storybook perfect. It just has to be safe , nurturing and centered around love and resilience. There is no handbook or manual given when you have your baby. Despite the many books out there, all the apps and even the unsolicited advice, you truly just learn as you go and as you grow. Every pregnancy was different for me and each one of my children developed at their own pace. One lesson I’m still learning is that you must give yourself grace.
What would you do with $20,000?We could finally take a family vacation and start savings accounts for the kids. I’d be able to also put some of the money towards expanding our family garden and beginning our homestead journey.
