What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my two beautiful baby girls turn into amazing, smart, and thoughtful little girls. I know they will do so many great things - and I am just blessed to be apart of that - as they grow, mature, and become who they are meant to be. I get to be there every step of the way!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood is a long, tough, beautiful journey of refinement. Of healing. Of finding ourselves and accepting grace on the hard days. I've learned as a mom I need to surrender my need for perfection and show up even when I don't feel equipped. Especially then. My girls are learning to love themselves- hopefully better than I've loved myself - because perfection isn't the goal.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pour it into my blog, That Mom With CP. My blog is a huge resource for disabled mom's (also backed by the CP Foundation) and every resource we receive helps us reach other mom's who may be wondering if motherhood is compatible- or even possible- with a disability. It is! Help me reach those moms!
