Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding thing about motherhood is seeing my children make the right choice and lead with love, even when I am not there. The morals that their father and I have instilled in them, shine through even in the darkest times. It makes me realize that I am doing a good job at being a mom, even when the world tries to prove otherwise. Getting to see these four little human beings grow up and thrive, is the best thing in the world. They have such big hearts and teach me new lessons everyday.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that even on the hardest days, it is so important to get up and show up. There are days that feel so impossible, and days filled with such joy. Choosing to get up the next day and try harder than the day before, is so important. Owning up to my mistakes and apologizing, teaches humility and grace to the kids and shows them that we are all human and we all need forgiveness. Motherhood is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am so thankful to grow every day.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay off our medical debts and use the rest as a down payment on a new family vehicle. Having some debt payed off would ease my stress and make me be able to be more present and calmer. Our current family car is running down quickly and we only have one vehicle for the six of us. It would be such a blessing.
