Watching my kids raise up other kids. Somehow both of them are inherently kind, use their voices for good, and bring positivity to the party. That and the way they are both still so excited to see me at the end of their school days (one is in high school so this feels big!).
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Time is a thief. In every way. Not only does the time with kids go by so quickly, the time in the day feels so fleeting and impossible. A huge lesson I’ve learned is to verbally mark special moments with them: “wow, this is a really awesome icecream date” or “it meant a lot to me when you told me how excited you were to go to the show with me tonight”. It’s these little nuggets that amount to big connection as the years go by.
What would you do with $20,000?I’m in training to become a transformational life coach, so I would take some of it and invest in building the business. Then I would take my family on vacation to sleep in an igloo under the Northern Lights in Iceland. The rest I would add to my kids’ 529 plans.
