What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing him learn new things, hit new milestones, and grow as a person. Best of all when he looks in my eyes, smiles, and gives a big hug. It makes me feel like nothing in the world could ruin that moment.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson I have learned is to slow down. I have always been fast paced, taking on many activities amd responsibilities. Being a mom has forced me to prioritize, slow down, and put my energy into making childhood magical for my son. With every new stage my heart breaks for the tiny baby who is fading away while simultaneously so excited and proud for the new little human hes growing into. Slowing down is the only way to make sure I soak in every second of who he is at that moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the 20,000 to better our life. Put some aside into his bank account and use the rest to help us buy a home for him to grow up in. I have a lot of student debt, coupled with the poor pay of working in the mental health field, the current housing climate has not allowed us to move into a bigger home from our current one bedroom. I dream of him having his own room to grow up in.
