I’m a mom of 3 boys. Nonprofit director, church leader, boutique builder & creative. I lead with purpose and inspire through it all.
We would like to thank you for supporting Lauren Corbitt in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your child grow and seeing their personality shine, knowing your love helped shape who they become. It’s in the little moments; hugs, trust, laughter, that show your bond. Despite the challenges, feeling needed and deeply loved creates a connection that’s truly unmatched.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that every decision I make ripples into my children’s lives, shaping them in ways both seen and unseen. But I’ve also learned that not every choice can center them if it leaves me depleted. When I run on empty, I can’t give them my best. True motherhood is balance; caring for them deeply while also protecting my own well-being so I can show up whole, strong, and present.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d invest in improving my health and financial stability. I’d use part of the money to get braces, boosting my confidence and long-term dental health. I’d then open a savings account to build an emergency fund for future security. Finally, I’d pay down my car loan to reduce debt, lower interest costs, and free up monthly income for other goals.
