The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching a human you love more than anything grow into their own person—and knowing you had a hand in shaping who they’re becoming. It’s in the small, quiet moments that don’t get posted or praised… when they come to you for comfort, when they trust you with their thoughts, when you see your values show up in how they treat others. It’s realizing that your love is their safe place in the world.

It’s shown me how to let go of perfection, that I’m more patient than I ever thought I could be, and to love in a way that’s steady even on the hard days. I’ve learned that showing up consistently matters more than getting it right every time. It’s also forced me to look at myself—my reactions, my habits, my triggers—because the way I handle things shapes how they learn to handle life. It’s also taught me that being needed is a privilege, not a burden. Even in the chaos, it’s meaningful.

Honestly, most of it would go toward making life a little more secure for my kids—savings, activities, things that help them grow—and maybe a small trip so we can make some really special memories together.
