Seeing how happy the “small things” make them. It could be as simple as telling them how excited I am about their art project, or bringing them their favorite snack from the store as a surprise. Little moments of joy where their faces light up makes me feel so much love and appreciation that I get to be their Mom!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience and empathy. I always say that I never truly understood how much love I had to give someone until my children were born. They have made me a better, more understanding human being overall and I don’t think I’d be the person I am today without them. I also credit them for being so successful in my role at work! I manage 10+ employees with different personalities and needs. The skills I’ve developed as a mother have made me thrive in a leadership role in a challenging industry.
What would you do with $20,000?There is a large hole in our ceiling due to ongoing issues with our roof and plumbing. This money will be going straight to that project!
