Latoya Rush

I stay humble, blessed and true to my daughter. We are all we have. I’ll give her my last anything. I may struggle but she never will.

We would like to thank you for supporting Latoya Rush in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing the smile on my daughter’s face when she has been away at college and she comes home and we see each other. Or when I buy her something unexpected that she talked about and had no idea I was gonna get it for her.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that my daughter is all I have. No matter what o go through in life she will be there for me, to make me smile, to make me laugh more than she can ever know.

What would you do with $20,000?

Pay off my daughter’s tuition. I don’t want her graduating with thousands of dollars in loans. The interest alone is what kills the kids. They’ll never be able to pay it off.
