The most rewarding part of being a mom is getting to be present for it all—watching her grow each day, seeing the wonder in her eyes as she discovers something new, and soaking in every cuddle and giggle. It’s in those little moments that I realize I’m not just raising a baby—I’m shaping a life. And that is the greatest privilege and joy I’ll ever know.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?While I carry a lot on my own, I’ve learned something important: asking for help isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom. It takes strength to say, “I don’t have to do this alone.” I have learned to take one day at a time, to slow down and to be intentionally grateful as I build this little life for us. The joy is in the tiny moments. The snuggles. The giggles. And best of all, being present to bear witness to the daily "new" things she learns and discovers, and the person she's becoming.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won, I would use the prize money to lay a strong foundation for financial stability in our lives and invest in my daughter’s future. As a single mom, creating security and opportunity for her means everything to me. This would help me build something lasting—not just for today, but for the life I’m working so hard to give her.
