The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids flourish in whatever they do. My daughter was unexpectedly thrown into a new position as a catcher due to an injury. And when I say thrown in… I mean thrown in. She gave it her all, diving for balls, and chasing down runners like she’s been doing it her whole life. It’s just as heartwarming to see their confidence grow. My oldest son has always been afraid of messing up, and he put in the work and ended with 2 rewards as a 7th grader 🏈.

Motherhood has taught me one big thing—we really have no control. We can prepare, plan, and try to prevent things, but in the end, it’s out of our hands. I have children with epilepsy, and for a long time I just wanted to “fix” everything. It drove me crazy trying to carry something that was never mine to control. I had to surrender and give it to the Lord. At the end of the day, they are His children, and He chose me to be their mom. He wouldn’t have picked me for this role if I wasn’t equipped

Because of everything we’ve walked through, I feel led to give back in a meaningful way. I want to donate a portion to organizations that support children with epilepsy—something close to my heart. ❤️ At the same time, I’m focused on my kids’ future, setting money aside for college, their first vehicles, and whatever path they choose. It’s about giving back while building a secure future for them.
