I love hearing from other parents, strangers in public, and family members tell me how impressed they are with my boys’ manners and how well behaved they are. Telling me what great young men I’m raising and how kind and thoughtful they are. I love seeing them pick up a friend when they are down, jumping in to help family or friends, and showing such love and compassion for others. I love seeing their eyes light up when they have accomplished something they have worked so hard on.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?To slow down and really soak in the little moments with my boys. So often I want to rewind and go back to when they were little just to have more time. I’ve realized I need to slow down and soak in the moments now because time isn’t stopping and they are growing so fast.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use $20,000 to pay off some of our debt and relieve some of that financial stress for my husband. He was diagnosed with a rare disease called FAP and has had to go through many procedures and major surgeries and still has a long road ahead. He was also just medically retired from his position as a police officer from being injured on the job. Being able to take some of that pressure away would be amazing so he can work on his health and we can focus on making more family memories.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Mom, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
