Watching my kids become who they are meant to be, not what they’ve been through. In our blended family, some of my children have experienced a parent walking away—but they’ve never had to question if I would. The most rewarding part is seeing them feel safe, chosen, and deeply loved. Knowing they trust me to stay, no matter what, is everything.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That showing up consistently can heal what life tried to break. Motherhood has taught me that love is a daily choice especially in a blended family where some hearts carry extra hurt. I’ve learned how to break cycles, create stability, and be the safe place I didn’t always have. You don’t have to be the one who left to change a child’s story you can be the one who stays.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use $20,000 to give my kids something they’ve never fully had complete peace of mind. In a blended family where some have experienced a parent leaving, I want them to grow up knowing they are secure, supported, and never alone. We’ve outgrown our home after welcoming our youngest, and this would help us create a space where everyone has room to breathe, feel safe, and truly belong. It would allow us to build a life rooted in stability, not survival.
