Watching my daughters grow into their own people at different stages of life is the most rewarding part. My oldest, at 18, is stepping into her independence, while my youngest, at 7, is full of curiosity and joy. Seeing their confidence, kindness, and growth reminds me that every sacrifice and late night is worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me resilience and unconditional love. As a single mom at 18 I learned that you can be exhausted, overwhelmed, and still show up with strength and compassion. It’s also taught me that perfection isn’t the goal—being present, loving, and consistent is what truly matters
What would you do with $20,000?I would use it to finish paying for my Bachelor of Nursing and support my oldest daughter’s education in Social Work. Investing in our education means building a stronger future for both of us and creating opportunities.
