What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my children grow and develop their own personalities has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Each day I get to see a little more of who they are becoming, and it never stops amazing me. Both of my girls are full of life—fun, wild, with big personalities—but in such beautifully different ways. One is bold and expressive, always ready to share her thoughts. The other is playful and curious, taking everything in with wide-eyed wonder. Their differences make our home feel vibrant.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Christian parenthood has taught me to slow down and be present in the moments that matter most. In a world that rushes, I’m reminded to pause, pray, and notice God at work in my children’s lives. Through their questions, laughter, and faith, I learn patience and trust. Slowing down helps me lead with love and see each day as a gift.

What would you do with $20,000?

If my family won, we would use it to purchase a home better suited for fostering children. A larger, welcoming space would allow us to provide safety, stability, and comfort to kids who need it most. It would give us room to grow our family, create a nurturing environment, and open our doors to more children who deserve love and a place to truly belong.
