The most rewarding thing about parenting are the moments when you watch your child follow through with the lessons, big or small, that you have been working so hard to teach. The ones you spend nights up crying and questioning but then your tears turn into pride and joy knowing that you’re human, but your children are still learning and exuding valuable life lessons and traits. Oh and also all the random hugs, kisses, and “I love you”’s I get.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that I can’t control everything. As a mom we want to be in control, especially if you are an oldest child yourself, but when our 2nd baby was in the NICU, God helped remind me and my husband that no matter what, we can’t control everything and need to release the reins a bit. It’s also showed me in a physical way, how much my mom loved me, especially in the hard moments when I just wish she was here.
What would you do with $20,000?I would firstly, take my family on a small getaway, and then use the rest to either pay off some debt or invest in some college/adult funds for all 4 kids.
