Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom to my daughter is watching her love Jesus and people so deeply, even at such a young age, and seeing her begin to walk in what God has called her to do. I love teaching her and watching her learn and grow, especially seeing her eyes light up when she learns something new and the joy she has in it. I’m so grateful that God entrusted me to be her mom and gave me the opportunity to walk alongside her in life, to support, love, and encourage her in every step.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me what God’s love truly looks like. It’s opened my eyes to what He did for us when He sent His Son, because the love I have for my daughter is so deep I can’t imagine giving her up even to save humanity from sin, yet God loved us enough that He was willing to. It’s also taught me a deeper, more pure kind of selflessness. No matter how tired I am or how hard it can be, it’s always worth it. Every single day is a gift and a blessing, and I don’t take that for granted.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I were given $20,000, I would use it to help meet the needs of my family and others who are struggling. I would set some aside to invest in my daughter’s future, and I would also use it to help lighten the financial load I carry while balancing work, ministry, and homeschooling. It would give me the ability to be more present in those areas and continue pouring into what matters most.
