Breaking cycles and knowing I'm raising good humans. My boys are smart, hard-working kids; but most of all they're kind. They get excited to come work with mommy. When we do delivery gigs, they play "Santa". Neither one of my boys have ever met a stranger and they love to make people smile.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?To never give up. You could have the worst day at work, be exhausted, your back hurts, head hurts, no money in the bank - just at your absolute lowest - but those boys! Seeing them happy makes it all worth it. They'll tell me the boxed Mac and cheese and grilled hot dogs were the best dinner ever.
What would you do with $20,000?Catch up and breathe. I know everyone is in the same boat. We're all one bad day away from homelessness. But if I could pay off some debt and bills, my full time job would be enough and my boys and I wouldn't have to work nights and weekends anymore. We could actually do fun things. Go to the beach and have picnics. They wouldn't be trapped in the car "playing Santa" anymore. And I would put the rest into a high yield savings account for when their 18.
