What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

At 16 I was told that I would never be able to have children. When my husband and I had decided to start trying just to see if something could happen God truly blessed us and gave us two beautiful boys. They are 22 months apart. And God knew exactly what I needed in my life. They are the most rewarding thing in my life. They’ve changed every aspect for my husband, and myself, holding our family extremely close to God, knowing that his hands were tied in this.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

At this stage, I’m never going to say a mother is perfect. There is no perfect Mom. We all mess up. It is a constant battle to try to do things perfectly when there is just no perfect in this world. So one of the biggest lessons is letting my children know and reminding myself, we are not here to be perfect. We are here to make mistakes, but as long as we believe that God will forgive us then all is well in the world.

What would you do with $20,000?

Over the years, my husband and I struggled after having our child during the pandemic February 2020. So $20,000 would pay off all the remaining debt that we are in, plus be able to put some towards our kids college funds.
