Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my kids grow into who they’re meant to be while knowing I had a hand in shaping that. The little moments, the way they look to me for comfort, and showing them through my own life that you can work hard, build something meaningful, and still be present. That balance, even when it’s not perfect, is everything.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That you can’t pour from an empty cup. To show up as the mom my kids need, I also have to take care of myself, set boundaries, and build a life I’m proud of. Motherhood taught me that it’s not about doing everything perfectly, it’s about being present, consistent, and leading by example every day.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d invest in my family first. I’d use part of it to create meaningful experiences together, where we can be fully present and make lasting memories. I’d also set aside money for special milestones this year, like my daughter’s 5th birthday and our 10-year wedding anniversary. The rest I’d use to create more stability at home so I can be more present, less stressed, and fully show up for my family every day.
