Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The growth that my children demand of me is the most rewarding. I find the joy in the little things though. Coming home from work and they yell for me as they run into my arms. Rocking them to sleep at night as their hands find my cheeks. Tiny gooey kisses. Baby toes (need I say more?!) Watching my daughter grow into a young woman. Showing them, by example, the love of Christ. Laughing with them. I enjoy my children so much. It is such an honor to be blessed to care for them. They are my heart.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That it’s okay to not do it perfectly, they love me anyways. They won’t remember the home being perfectly clean, or the laundry being put away 24/7. They will remember the moments that we spend together one on one. Motherhood has taught me to slow down and to see the world through their eyes. With joy, love, and laughter.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put it towards our bills so I can work less than 40-60 hours a week. I own my own cleaning company and I am so grateful it helps pay our bills. But to be able to spend more time with the children we created is the true dream. And 20k would help us with that!
