What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

After losing my mom to cancer , the grief could’ve swallowed me whole. But my kids gave me a reason to keep going on the days I didn’t feel strong. Their laughter softened the heaviness, their needs kept me moving, and their love reminded me that life was still worth showing up for. Being their mom didn’t just shape me, it healed me. And that, to me, is the greatest reward of all.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that strength isn’t about having it all together it’s about showing up anyway. After losing my mom, I learned how to keep going through grief, how to love deeper even when I felt broken, and how to be the stability my kids needed. They didn’t just rely on me they refined me. The biggest lesson? Real strength is soft, consistent, and rooted in love and I discovered mine through them.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d use the $20,000 as a stepping stone toward buying a home for my children a place where they can run freely, play safely in their own yard, and just be kids. It would go toward savings for a down payment and moving costs, bringing me closer to creating a stable, peaceful space we can truly call our own. More than anything, it’s about giving them room to grow, make memories, and feel secure every single day.
