Just seeing her beautiful smile, or her saying thank you mommy. To be able to watch her do things I never got to do as a child, brings me joy & happiness. Knowing I am breaking those generational curses by creating limitless intentional possibilities for her means the world to me in so many ways. I always tell her the possibilities are limitless and I will go to the moon & to ensure she is afforded every opportunity possible. Keeping that promise to myself to give her more then I had growing up.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?There is no manual, nor is there down time lol. I also learned to take time out for me, it was a hard lesson because you try to be everything to everyone, but you can’t pour from an empty cup.
What would you do with $20,000?I would put 50 percent away for her future, because what mom wouldn’t. I would use the other portion to give her a vacation she would never forget. We haven’t been on a vacation yet, because as a single mom, you pick & choose what’s important. I have been so intentional on just making sure she has all of the academic, and daily experiences you don’t always have room for those things. I would love to give her a vacation she will never forget get, a first vacation. I feel we both could use.
