What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?How much you can mentally handle and leaning on supports. It takes an immeasurable amount of mental stability to move through our days as parents of type 1 young children. When I can receive a sliver of support, it’s everything. Learning to say yes when help is offered is hard but I’m still working on it.
What would you do with $20,000?I would plan a much needed break/vacation for my family, donate to our local T1D foundation - SLAMT1D, and save the remainder for my girls insulin and diabetes supplies. A diabetic alert dog (D.A.D.) feels way out of reach for us but this would certainly make it more of a reality and help us so much keeping the girls extra safe.
