Being a mom is the most rewarding part of my life because my girls gave me a reason to keep going when I felt lost. They didn’t magically save me, but they gave me purpose. Because of them, I chose recovery and keep choosing it every day. I stay sober so I can be present for the little moments and the big ones. They made me face myself, grow, and become stronger. Loving them taught me how to love myself, and in choosing to stay for them, I learned to stay for me too.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that real strength is showing up, even when it’s hard. It taught me patience, accountability, and how to grow through discomfort instead of running from it. I’ve learned that love isn’t just a feeling, it’s action, consistency, and presence. My girls taught me to slow down, to be honest with myself, and to keep choosing better every day. They showed me that I’m capable of more than I ever believed, and that growth is a lifelong commitment.

What would you do with $20,000?

A recovery community for sober moms is a space where we can be real, supported, and understood. It’s about connection without judgment, sharing struggles, wins, and the messy middle of healing. As moms, we carry so much, and sobriety adds another layer. In this space, we lift each other up, stay accountable, and grow together. It’s not about perfection, it’s about showing up, staying sober, and building a life our kids can be proud of.
