The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing how others see and praise the person you raised. Getting through the ups and downs together and coming out better humans because of it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Many lessons learned! I would say the biggest is to check my self awareness and I wish I dealt with my own childhood trauma prior to becoming a parent. Remembering that she is her own person, we have the ability to make our relationship what we want it to be and freedom in teaching her the valuable lessons I wish I was taught. In the end, have faith. It will never be perfect but perfection isn’t as beautiful as authentic.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off my car and take my daughter on a dream vacation! Celebrating her graduating from high school with a 3.7 GPA! AND getting into her top college (HBCU) of her choice! She has always been such a special person, to see her reap the benefits of her hard work and dedication is literally what it’s all about!!! I did that! On my own, with the help of my village and God’s love.
