Mom of 4 by 25, twins born during deployment, cancer survivor at 30, and full-time pro. I advocate for my autistic child and never stop.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kelli Goetz in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
It’s witnessing the incredible people my four children are becoming despite every obstacle we've faced. After surviving cancer and the trials of deployments when they were younger, the reward is simply being present for their milestones. Seeing my children thrive and watching all of them grow has proven that while I may be their "Super Mom," they are the ones who truly saved me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood taught me that strength isn't just about carrying a heavy load; it’s about having the grace to keep going when the path gets steep. From raising twins during a deployment to fighting cancer, I’ve learned that I am far more capable than I ever imagined. It taught me that flexibility is a superpower, especially when advocating for my autistic child and that sometimes, the most important thing you can do is just show up and keep loving, even when life feels unpredictable.
What would you do with $20,000?This would be a reset button for sure. I’ve always prioritized my children to get on their feet. Now as they are young adults and one still a minor, the money would be used for a much needed family vacation, allowing us to reconnect. This would also provide the breathing room to focus entirely on our health and happiness.
