The most rewarding part of motherhood for me is witnessing my son’s unprompted acts of kindness toward others. Those moments when I’m convinced everything I’m trying to teach him is going in one ear and out the other are when his true character and integrity shine the brightest.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is to truly appreciate time. All your life you hear people say ‘time flies,’ but it never really hits you until you have a child. The days can feel long, yet the years slip by in the blink of an eye. One moment you’re rocking your baby to sleep, and the next they’re growing into their own little person. It goes by so incredibly fast. Motherhood has taught me to slow be more present, and cherish every single moment.
What would you do with $20,000?If my family and I won $20,000, we would definitely be smart with the money but still allow ourselves a little fun. We’d put the majority into savings for security and our son’s future, but we would absolutely book that new boat on Royal Caribbean we’ve been eyeing! It would be the perfect family trip creating those memories together while he’s still little.
